Description
This 30 card boom deck in random order will allow students to practice 3 digit by 1 digit short division. The first slide is an explanatory slide to read in order to help the student understand the terminology and processes used in division. Students calculate the quotient in each of the remaining 29 slides using carryovers where needed. Aligned to Common Core Standard: 4.NBT.B.6 Find whole-number quotients and remainders with up to four-digit dividends and one-digit divisors, using strategies based on place value, the properties of operations, and/or the relationship between multiplication and division. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
