Description: This set of 20 flashcards will allow your students to review their ability to use irregular plural nouns in English. Each flashcard contains two sentences, one with the noun in the singular form and one with the noun missing. For the first several cards, students must select, from a field of 4, the most appropriate plural form of the word. For the last 6 cards, students must type in the most appropriate plural form of a given noun. This addresses receptive understanding (recognizing the correct answer) and expressive understanding (coming up with the correct answer without being given choices). Irregular plural include (but are not limited to): fish, deer, man, woman, person, cactus, octopus, ox, mouse, etc. This is a great way for teachers, special educators, and speech therapists to gather data about skill maintenance during distance learning. It is also a simple activity that students can complete independently.
