Students will multiply a one digit whole number by a decimal less than 1 whole, to include tenths and hundredths only. With a foundation of their basic facts, this set of boom cards is intended to guide students into thinking through 56 tenths being best represented as 5 wholes and 6 tenths, or in the standard form 5.6 Students complete 20 "select response" questions, 10 of which the decimal is represented in the first factor and 10 of which the decimal is represented in the second factor Students complete 10 questions where they type in the answer, and these are written/expressed in standard form with the hope that students read it as the word form they have practiced in the previous cards
