Description

A lesson in making the velars K,G and the plosives T,D is presented. Students learn how to produce the sounds. Then, children HEAR and sort two words by its beginning sound (all words start with K,G or T,D sounds). There is an apple picking theme. The first slides introduce how the K,G and T,D sounds are made and show images of how the sounds are made in the mouth. The subsequent slides give students opportunities to hear two minimal pairs sets. Students drag the image associated with each word to a "T,D" or "K,G" tree and press submit for response feedback. Includes home page, audio directions and arrows for navigation.
