This is an open-ended version of the game so you can pair this with an activity as reinforcement. You could also target language goals like expressing recurrence (e.g. “more hearts!”), disappearance (e.g. “no more cupcakes”), targeting vocabulary of “eat” or "give" and quantitative concepts (e.g. give the bug three hearts). So many language options available to you!
