Description
This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills. Students are presented with different vegetables, seeds, pots and flowers to build a garden. Students are able to follow 1-step directions by putting specific items into the garden. Behind each item is a CVC words. On the next slide, students are able to answer WH questions, label CVC words & label colors. This activity includes: - A variety of Gardening Vegetables, Seeds, Pots & Flowers: Corn, Tomato, Radish, Carrot, Potato, Lettuce, Cabbage, Onion, Broccoli, Mushroom, Pepper, Sunflower, Shovel, Tulip, Sunflower - A variety of CVC Words (e.g. hat, bus, cat, map, mat, pen, bed, bib, pig, can, bug, mug, pot, dog, mop, bat, bin, ham, car, box, fox, nut, pin, bun & pan) - Visual Sentence Strips to help students expand their utterances The following IEP goals can be targeted during the activity: - Following 1-step directions - Answering WH questions - Labeling CVC Words - Labeling Colors - Identifying common gardening items
