Description: This interactive no- prep activity is used to help students follow 3-step directions by identifying animals from the book Dear Zoo. The zoo scene includes different colored boxes. Students are presented with 3 visual choices of animals. This also helps students practice the core word "in," following 3-step directions and identifying common animals. This is great for speech therapy, teletherapy, or even in person therapy! This activity can be used with higher level students to answer "what" and "where" questions. Different animals can be placed in the picture scene. Students can be asked "what" questions such as "what color is the animal, what animal do you see" or "where is the frog" to target prepositions. The following animals are included in this activity: - Elephant - Frog - Monkey - Giraffe - Dog - Lion - Camel - Snake Some of the following IEP goals can be targeted: - Wh Questions (asking where is the verb after it is placed in the correct location) - Following 3-step directions - Describing (e.g. attributes, function, category, parts) - Identifying and labeling animals - WH questions (e.g. ask students what animal do you see, what color is the animal, what color is the cage, where is the animal, etc.)
