Teachers - please see the bottom part of the description. There is some preparation required on your part! Turn your Thanksgiving week into an adventure! In this interactive clue hunt, students will follow rhyming clues to search for hidden turkey feathers around the school. Each card presents a fun, easy-to-read clue that leads students to a familiar location—classrooms, hallways, the library, playground, and more. This deck is perfect for building reading skills, rhyme awareness, problem-solving, and teamwork while keeping students engaged and active. Ideal for whole-class use, small groups, or a special holiday activity. Teachers - please hide feathers in these places: library, cafeteria, gym, art room, music room, and principals office/front office. You can buy craft feathers or simply print off a picture of feathers from the internet. Feel free to make this game exactly what you want it to be. For my classroom, I would have small groups go one at a time and I would hide the feathers in places that will not disrupt classes, like outside of the classroom doors. Younger students should be accompanied by an adult. You will either need enough feathers at each location for each group to have one, or you will need to have the previous group go back and hide the feathers before the next group starts. If you don't have any clues hidden outside, make sure you mention this to students, as the gym clue could possibly be interpreted as the playground.
