Monster Coloring Book is a colorful and engaging activity designed for use in speech therapy with early elementary students with grammar, verb form, or language structure goals. The activity contains a menu of 6 different monster images. Each monster has 5 language prompts, and each time a question is correctly answered, the monster design is filled in with a color. Each question is a language structure question where there is a simple sentence with a blank, and the student is added to drag the correct helping verb (also known as auxiliary verb) into the spot. Each of the pages has the same array of 8 choices. When the monster has been completely colored in, the student is taken to a reward page that shows the monster image as well as a congratulatory animation.
