After that, students are shown two different acorn faces and asked to select the one that depicts the asked about emotion. The six emotions that are reinforced in this product is: happy, sad, angry, scared, excited, and silly. As an added feature, each card has the ability to be read to the student for extra support. These task cards would be great for social/emotional instruction. They could be used in a large group setting to discuss and practice emotions as well as in a small group setting of students who need extra social skills practice.
