Help students practice expressing preferences, giving opinions, answering “Why?” questions, describing, and expanding language with this fun Would You Rather? formal dress activity featuring homecoming, prom, and quinceañera-style gowns! This resource includes 49 slides comparing two different dresses, with more than 90 formal gowns shown throughout the deck. Students choose which dress they would rather wear and explain why they made their choice. On each slide, students compare two dresses and answer the question “Which dress would you rather wear?” A WHY cue card is included to help students give reasons for their choices. This resource supports: Expressing preferences Answering “Why?” questions Giving opinions Describing Increasing MLU / expanding utterances Comparing and contrasting Identifying same and different Answering yes/no questions Self-advocacy Using AAC to express opinions and preferences AAC targets can include phrases such as I like that, I don’t like, awesome, pretty good, no way, not good, best, good, and bad.
