This is an interactive calendar task deck. This is a great deck for the student to begin each day or to be used within the day's routine. It provides structure and predictability, as well as promoting independence and self-regulation. In reviewing the daily calendar tasks, the student's learning outcomes are enhanced by providing engagement, ownership, focus, easing transitions and contributing to academic achievement. On each card, the student completes portions of a calendar routine or start of the day preparation. There are words as well as pictures to represent the calendar concepts such as days, months, seasons, etc. The student is required to type in some responses given the words provided. The calendar tasks are generic so there is no correct answer. The student may submit their answers for the teacher to review. The tasks include: days of the week, months, calendar set-up, season, weather, temperature, clothing, feelings, personal info., schedule and a free choice writing card.
