Description: This FREEBIE activity targets detection of the Ling 6 sounds, which is an early listening activity for children with hearing loss utilizing listening and spoken language. For each of the six sounds (ah, oo, ee, sh, s, m) there is a card with the same object 5 times which represents the sound (such as an airplane for "ahhh"). As the student hears the sound, they can move the object to its corresponding box. If the child is not able to control the device themselves, they can indicate detection in another way (such as pointing to their ear) and the therapist or parent can move the object to the box. Please note, the deck does NOT have sounds built in to it, as the green flashing arrow feature of Boom Cards would give away the sound being played. Therefore, the teacher, parent, or therapist makes the sound.
