Description: Speech therapy, English/Language Arts - Appropriate for grades 5 and up. 72 card deck with 35 Idioms. This is a Jeopardy-style game with a home page slide that links to question slides. Following the question slide is an answer slide with a brief, simply worded definition of the idiom and an example sentence. There are 35 idioms total with 5 for each of the 7 categories. Each question has a point value of 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50. You will need to manually track points earned. You can track which questions have been visited by dragging the black "X" to cover the spot. What makes this product different? Each slide has an image representing the literal or nonliteral meaning of an expression. The answer slides include an example sentence. This will depend on the geological region where you live but the idioms included are only those that are regularly heard by young people. The game also has brightly color-coded themed categories of idioms including: Feelings Animals Body Parts Foods Time Money Colors How to use: This product can be used in several different ways including 1:1 or groups. For distance learning, you can share your screen and mouse control with the student to complete the activity.
