Description

Phonological Awareness is the foundation for Reading and Writing success. Students who have phonological awareness know that language is made up of words, rhymes, syllables, and sounds. In this game students listen to one and two syllable animal names and drag the animal with the correct number of syllables into the zoo. The purpose of this game is for students to discriminate between sets of words with different amounts of syllables and identify the word with the correct amount of syllables. This game is also part of a growing bundle of phonological awareness activities. Created by Deanna Jump and Jessica Corbett
