Description: These situation photographs can be used for: -conversation starters -making inferences and reasoning based on limited context -vocabulary and language learning contexts -discussing emotions -perspective taking -story telling or story retell. -teaching or practicing subordinating conjunctions (e.g. as soon as, although, unless, whenever, while, since, even if, etc), something so many children with SLI have difficulty with. ***Talk bubbles and thought bubbles are hidden in upper corners for students who may respond better with this visual cue. Can be used to discuss what someone may say versus what they could actually be thinking. Go through the cards one by one, or click on a page number on the home page to be taken to that card. Click "next" to go through the cards. Click "home" to return to the home/table of contents page. Useful questions available at the end. Can be accessed quickly via the home/table of contents page. Typing boxes added in case your students respond to written cues, or if they would like to type their thoughts. Yesterday a student with selective mutism showed that she would type conversations during teletherapy, so we added the typing box to help.
