Knowing how to describe an object lets people know what we are thinking of, even if we don’t know the name of the object. Helpful features for describing include: group (category), what it looks like (color, size, shape…), the parts (pieces of the whole, materials), location (where it is), and function (what it’s used for). This deck offers 3 different levels of support: models, sentence starters, and picture only. This can be used for progress monitoring, by picking the certain objects and reviewing in regular intervals.
