Description: This 78-card deck is designed to help your students explore the first 20 elements on the Periodic Table. Working with the TOP 20 elements, these cards provide 5 opportunities per element for students to review the subatomic particles, write the element symbol, name the element based on its symbol, identify the atomic number of the element, and place the element correctly on the periodic table. Other cards, provide practice organizing elements on the periodic table and identifying how the periodic table’s information is organized. Recommend teacher reviews cards and “hides” the cards not needed for a specific lesson or study activity. Deck could be set organized multiple ways for repeat use for building skills and knowledge by using the “hide” feature of Boom Learning. Cards activities include fill in the blank and drag and drop for labeling. The periodic table organization card is provided 3 times; each with a different level of skill (with atomic number, most without, and all without) for differentiation, skill building, and assessment options.
