Description
Students listen to a short story about 8 different animals that live in or near a pond and are asked to identify each of their habitats choosing from a field of two pictures. In addition, the last 8 cards ask students to identify the animal that lives in or around pond when given a choice between 2 different animals. The simple repeated text supports emergent readers . Audio is provided for those students not yet reading and to encourage independent use. Animals include: frog, turtle, dragonfly, beaver, crane, duck, fish & snail
