This is 33-card scavenger hunt will teach students interesting facts about bats. While completing the hunt, students will learn how many different kinds of bats there are, their habits, ways they are beneficial, myths about them, and more. To complete the hunt, students answer 16 multiple-choice questions. First, they read a question and its possible answers. Then they read information that will help them answer it. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. The final card in the hunt requires students to write 3 interesting things they learned in the hunt. It can be used as a supplement to a study of mammals, as background information for a story, to practice reading informational text, as a Halloween activity, or as an easy activity for a sub.
