If you are looking to review common sight words in sentences, then try out these cards. Students can listen to the word that is on the large taco and then find the same word in the grid below. Next, they read the sentence and fill in the blank space. The deck will let you know if you make an error which the students can self-correct. The deck will advance to the next card when the correct word is typed in and all the words are found in the grid. The deck is randomized. So, each time you play the cards will be in a different order. 46 sight words: always, around, because, been, before, best, both, buy, call, cold, does, don’t, fast, first, five, found, gave, goes, green, its, made, many, off, or, pull, read, right, sing, sit, sleep, tell, their, these, those, upon, us, use, very, wash, which, why, wish, work, would, write, your. If you do not want your students to play all the cards, there is a function in BOOM where you can hide cards you do not want your students to play. When you purchase the deck: 1. go to your library and find the deck you bought. 2. Click on Action and you will see a dropdown menu. 3. Scroll down to Hide Cards. 4. When you click on a card it will turn gray/grey, meaning it is hidden from your students.
