Description: Great for Occupational Therapists and/or teachers to help kids with objectively identifying their body's arousal level/body regulation level. Teaches students to distinguish and understand how we define different types of arousal. Comes with 10 pictures/trials to practice identifying the "engine levels" for students. Goes hand-in-hand with wake up, calming, and heavy work strategies in order to get your engine (your body) to "just right" and "ready to learn". Great to pair with Emotional Regulation, or Zones of Regulation. It's important to teach kids that each "engine level" is expected in certain environments: (i.e. When it is bedtime we try to have a "slow" engine. When we run track we try to have a "fast" engine. When we are listening to the teacher in math class we try to have a "just right" engine). No "dragging" of items is required in this deck. All answers are complete by clicking/selecting/touching images.
