Description: Short A Spelling Game Superhero Hangman | This Spelling Game is designed similar to the classic game of Hangman to target Short Vowel A words. Students will see a picture, listen to the word, and then will guess letters to spell the answer. If the student is having trouble spelling the target word, he/she may click on the "I need help" button to practice spelling the word in a simpler task (provided the letters needed to spell the word). 17 Short Vowel A words in this deck! (e.g. mad, van, map, yak) The Build-A-Superhero component comes into play when the students guess letters that are not included in the target word. Place these letters in the red box.
