Description
Each card shows one item primarily used in the summertime (sunscreen, beach chair, shovel and pail, kite, sunglasses, cooler, beach bag, sun hat, beach towel, umbrella, and flamingo floatie) and the directions, "Click on the better deal for the item pictured below." Students will look at the picture and price tag or purchasing requirement, then look at the pricing options at the bottom of the screen. Pricing options include dollar amount off, percentage off, or 2 for a given dollar amount. This activity helps build real-world life skills, attention to detail, reading comprehension, and math confidence in a safe, classroom-friendly setting. Deck includes 33 playable cards with different pricing options.
