Description: This deck helps you practice the correct production of /r/ in the initial position of words when it precedes /a/. The deck is organized as follows: nine practice pages - one for each word in the tic-tac-toe grid. There are nine trials for the target word on each page but you can do as many as you like! Add a challenge by creating phrases and sentences for the target words. A tic-tac-toe game using each of the nine target words follows the individual practice. By pairing /r/ with specific vowels we are able to target specific contexts that are either simpler or more complex for /r/ production and thereby ensuring that we are accurately focused on our goals. Look out for all my tic-tac-toe games - each one targeting a different /r/ context. Start with what's easiest for your client - and work up from there!
