There are studies that show if a child predicts an answer, they have a better chance of remembering the actual answer. It’s a brain strategy known as predicting. I’ll bet you’ve done this while watching trivia shows on TV like Jeopardy or Millionaire! This resource gives the children chances to learn about wildfires through this prediction strategy. The children choose whether a statement about wildfires is true or false.
