Description: This deck is perfect for fall and October literacy skills in the primary grades. Three activities are included to practice so many reading skills: 1. Matching labels - students drag and drop the labels to match the words (the labels are already written for students, so they can look at the letters and match the words.) 2. Label on your own - these are the exact same pictures that students matched the labels and this builds confidence and fluency. Students already have an idea of what the labels are from the first activity, and now they are challenged to label the pictures on their own. They simply drag and drop the words into the correct spots on the picture. 3. Sorting objects - this is a great activity to get students to think about grouping objects that go together. 5 fall themes are included, and students drag 4 out of the 6 pictures to the mat that belong to the theme. Themes include: raking leaves, sunflowers, hayride, pumpkin farmer and apple cider.
