Facts & Opinions This boom card activity supports students to understand the terms ‘fact’ and ‘opinion’. On each task card students are provided a visual and sentence (e.g., I love chocolate) and asked to determine if the statement is a fact or an opinion. Students then sort the statements into facts & opinions. Students are cued on teaching pages to look for vocabulary often used in facts or opinions e.g., like, best.
