These 36 task cards are differentiated and cover 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication. Cards 1-12 have a blue background and are the easiest. Cards 13-24 have green background and are a little more difficult. Cards 25-36 have a pink background and are the most challenging. The last 4 cards have word problems. Answers are multiple choice and students are also asked to type the correct answer. I suggest having students work out the problems on a separate sheet of paper. These cards are aligned to the common core 4.NBT.B5 and 5.NBT.B.5.
