Description: This alphabet set of task cards are a perfect companion to my alphabet poems for shared reading. This deck of alphabet activities focuses on the letter Dd and my letter Dd Alphabet Poem that is available in my TPT store in my Alphabet Poems for Shared Reading set. Students read the poem, find all of the letter Dd's in the poem and click on them, order the poem by dragging and dropping the lines, answer questions about the poem, and then move on to letter Dd focus activities. This set comes with both drag and drop activities and choose the correct answer activities. Students will determine if pictures begin with the letter Dd, decorate a donut with D's, find capital and lowercase letter D's, order letter Dd sentences, and more . This set would be perfect as an introduction to letter Dd at the beginning of the year. I would recommend using this set as a whole group activity on your smartboard at the beginning of the year, and then assigned as an individual task later in the year. This set does have a variety of activities and younger students may need guidance at first. Please keep this in mind before making your purchase.
