Description: This product is a great way to teach young students the rules of recess. It can be used a a whole class activity, a language arts/literacy center or as independent work during the "Back to School" season or during the school year when students need a "refresher" on the rules. The books use predictable text that exposes students to the vocabulary associated with recess rules. Comprehension cards are included as well. These cards focus on identifying the appropriate recess behavior. Students must identify the appropriate behavior from a field of 2. There are 6 comprehension cards included. There is a sorting activity included as well. The sorting activity requires students to sort pictures of appropriate recess behavior and inappropriate recess behavior.
