Decodables are a great way to build student confidence in reading. This decodable story focuses on end m&n blend words and some sight words. The first slide contains ending blend words and sight words that appear in the text. Words are considered sight words if the phonics skill has not yet been taught, or if the word does not follow a set phonics skill. This decodable story comes after my short vowel stories, digraphs, FLOSS rule, and initial blends. This can be read individually, with a partner, or, with a teacher.
