Description: This fun rhythm deck is based on the idea behind the "I have, Who has?" hands-on rhythm card games many music teachers use in class. This version uses "I have, Where is?"--since it is for electronic devices, and can be for one-on-one use. In this set, the theme is sports and the focus is on quarter note (ta), eighth notes (ti-ti), and quarter rest (sh). Sports shown: baseball, soccer, football, tennis, swimming, gymnastics, jumping rope, running, basketball, frisbee Each card has audio. Students must choose the matching rhythm that goes with the word or phrase in the orange highlighted boxes. The very last card let's students choose their favorite sports and drag them into a white box. If you are using this deck on your smartboard/projector device as a whole class activity, this last slide can be used to make rhythm chains with sports words, have kids clap or speak the sport words, or have kids take turns choosing sports, etc. Lots of fun ways to use this set and even link to other sport units, songs, or stories. Thank you and enjoy!
