Description: Here’s an engaging way for children to practice 3-digit place value while having fun with Christmas trivia! Each of the 20 task cards gives three Christmas trivia clues students will use to identify a specific 3-digit number. Children must determine and type in the 3-digit number that fits all three clues. Read the clues, solve the puzzles!   Some clues in this activity ask students for the number of letters in Christmas objects or characters. Students are likely to know how to spell color and number words, but may not know the spelling of all the Christmas words. You may want to post a word bank to help students with these words: chimney, Christmas, Claus, coal, cookies, elf, Frosty, Grinch, jingle, milk, North Pole, pinata, present, reindeer, sleigh, stocking, tree.
