Description: These interactive boomcards allow kids to make predictions about whether or not different objects sink or float. After they make their prediction, they are encouraged to try it themselves and record their observations by dragging the object to the surface (float) or bottom (sink). All objects are reviewed on the last card to see what they learned. The following (common) objects are reviewed in these cards: - penny (or another U.S.coin) - rock - pencil - rubber band - leaf - dice - pompom/cotton ball - binderclip - wood - screw It's a great and fun way at-home experiment to learn about how objects react in the water!
