Description
This 35-card scavenger hunt will teach your students interesting facts about reptiles. While completing the hunt, students will learn what continents are homes to reptiles, how long a chameleon's tongue is, how many different kinds of snakes there are in the world, and more. To complete the hunt, students answer 17 multiple-choice questions. First, they read a question and its possible answers. Then they read a passage that will give them the answer. If they choose the correct answer, they are directed to the next question. If their answer is incorrect, they can reread the text to find the correct answer. They receive instant feedback on whether or not they chose the correct answer. The final card in the deck challenges students to write 3 interesting things they learned about reptiles. The hunt can be used to supplement a study of reptiles, as practice for reading informational text or as an easy activity for a sub.
