This deck provides 80 sets of minimal vowel contrast words designed to help students practice changing only the vowel sound while keeping the surrounding sounds the same. Each card features a three-word contrast set and short sentences for context, making it ideal for articulation, phonology, and auditory discrimination practice. The cards are organized from easiest to most challenging, moving from simple CVC words to advanced vowel teams, r-controlled vowels, and irregular or multisyllabic patterns. This progression allows SLPs to start where students are successful and stop at the appropriate level without additional setup or modification. This is a therapist-led, low-prep tool deck with a consistent visual layout to reduce distractions and maximize verbal practice. Students can say each word aloud once or multiple times, and optional click markers can be used to track completion as needed.
