Practice reading beginning L blends with this Valentine's Day Gnome self-graded digital game. Students will use two methods to read beginning l blend words. They will blend the letter sounds using sound dots and pick the matching picture. They will also determine the missing blend from a word. There will be a picture and the word will be partially visible. Students will determine what the missing blend letters are that match the word and picture. The beginning blends used are: bl, cl, fl, gl, pl, and sl. The words used are: black, blue, climb, cloud, flower, flat, glacier, glue, plum, planet, sled and sleep.
