Cards 2-5 shows students how to use periodic table for the number of protons and how to use hyphen and isotope notation. There is also a little bit of practice mixed in. Cards 6-10 discusses the idea of how the average atomic mass is determined. Students will read information about it and then practice calculating average atomic mass of fake elements using colored particle diagrams Cards 11-12 are short answer questions (these are not self-checking as answers will vary) Cards 13-15 are additional calculation problems for determining average atomic mass for real elements.
