This activity is a FUN way to practice and reinforce the phonemic awareness skill of final sound matching or rhyming. The Easter theme will help to engage and motivate your students while they are practicing this critical common core skill. To play, find the 2 pictures in eggs that rhyme, and drag them into the Easter basket! Students have the option to hear directions and words read aloud on each card. These digital task cards are perfect to use for -- whole-class teaching -- small group instruction -- literacy centers -- independent work time -- enrichment -- remote learning. STANDARDS COVERED: RF.K.2a Recognize and produce rhyming words. RF.K.3d Distinguish between similarly spelled words by identifying the sounds of the letters that differ. RF.1.2 Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
