Description: This interactive no-prep activity is an engaging way to help your students build a variety of receptive and expressive language skills with Valentine's Day treats and animated ACTION VERBS (GIFS). Students are able to follow 1-step directions to put the specific Valentine's Day treat on the counter in the dessert shop. After, there will be an action verb behind each item. On the next slide, students are able to answer WH questions (e.g. what is the girl/boy doing?), label verbs and increase MLU to form 4-word phrases.
