Description
These cards will focus on CVCE (long i) words. This is similar to a CVCE decodable reader, but will require students to drag and drop the correct CVCE word in the blank. This provides students with an opportunity to review several high frequency words and build reading fluency, while practicing the targeted long i CVCE words! There are a total of 12 cards. After completing three cards, students will get rewarded with a game card where students will be prompted to find the CVCE word by selecting a hidden object under a box out of three! Each slide includes an audio file that will read aloud the sentence. This is a great scaffold for struggling readers.
