These cards can also be used to teach with a small group. The stories are short enough to hold students' attention and give the teachers time to ask questions to support students in making mental images of the stories. There are WH questions for students working on answer WH questions. My colleagues are using these with middle school students at varying levels for a variety of reasons. They are short enough to work on skills and give all students in the group a turn.
