These Boom Cards show kids how they can double their 2s to remember their 4s, all with the help of a friendly gingerbread man. The first questions use arrays to build a concrete foundation in kids’ minds. They are intentionally ordered in a way to show the reciprocals. The second set of questions has no arrays. Kids are strongly encouraged to double the 2s to answer the 4s facts. There are 67 pages total with lots of opportunities to learn foundational strategies to memorize their facts while having fun. These questions work great for whole group, centers, individual review, distance learning, or paired partners. They would be perfect to assign after you have taught the relationship between 2s and 4s multiplication facts.
