Easy Onsets - Practice with /h/ initial single words. This activity supports students to practice using easy onsets (also known as easy starts) as a method to reduce stutters. A slide visual is used to support students to use easy onsets as well as a teaching page to support students know when to breath during the task. On each card students are provided a word starting with /h/ to produce with an easy onset. I suggest first practicing this with your students to ensure they are able to use an easy onset and remain stutter free during production.
