This resource features 3 scenes where students are able to match the colors of Valentine’s Day hearts, treats and goodies. This activity can be used to teach color identification, sorting and categorization, following simple directions and developing simple problem solving skills. Each scene will have its own set of directions at the top of each page. Match the hearts, treats, or goodies with other items that are the same color. If your students are early learners, model the task first before prompting them to complete it independently. If you have students with more advance language skills, practice describing skills by having them use descriptive vocabulary to explain steps for completing the task.
