Description: This deck contains a total of 25 cards, with a minimum of 101 opportunities to practice the medial and final /g/ sound. Each practice card contains: *a picture of the target word, *the written word in red, *a microphone button to push to hear the spoken directions and target word (optional), *a draggable snowball with a number under it. Child says the word that many times. *a thumbs up button-push if words articulated correctly, *a thumbs down button-push if words not articulated correctly and the student can try again. The deck also provides a visual on each practice card showing a child's mouth making the /g/ sound. You can structure your sessions to have the student say the word at the word, phrase or sentence level. The SLP can identify the word as articulated correctly or you can have the student self-monitor and determine if their production was correct or not. When the word is not said correctly, the SLP provides cues or directs the student to press the ear to hear the word again. Then the student can try again. You can also assign the deck for home practice!
