Help learners practice what to do when a job interview question is difficult to hear, understand, or answer right away. The lesson demonstrates how the applicant requests repetition, asks what unfamiliar words mean, checks the meaning of a question, requests thinking time, and uses written questions, key words, and a calendar to prepare an accurate answer. This employment transition lesson contains six seven-card cycles: 24 instructional cards, 12 text-only multiple-choice questions, and six image identification questions, for 42 cards total. Each of the 18 questions has three choices and one correct answer. Teaching navigation is unscored. Speech, writing, AAC, and other communication methods are respected; eye contact and handshakes are not required. Questions assess fictional situations, not personal support preferences. Designed for age-respectful special education transition instruction for grades 8–12 and young adults. Use for vocational skills, job readiness, workplace communication, self-advocacy, life skills, small groups, individual practice, and teacher-supported mock interviews. Pair digital practice with each learner's communication supports.
