This Same or Different deck targets the skill of identifying objects in their house that does not belong within these groups. Students are given 4 household items like furniture, chores, cleaning supplies, etc. and must select the one item that Does Not Belong in the stated category. This deck includes 30 cards that are randomized so you can assign as many or as few as needed. Your Preschoolers, PreK, and Kindergarten students will love using this Categories deck in small and whole group literacy and language activities. I love using it whole group where I can ask students “Why doesn’t the object belong?” or “What do the all the other objects have in common?”.
