Description
Your students will LOVE these beginning sounds boom cards! They are perfect for phonics practise, reading and spelling CVC words, and familiarising with initial consonants. There are 24 cards. The first 12 feature a picture and 3 CVC words with the same word family but different initial sounds (e.g. cat, bat, rat). Students must select the correct word that matches the picture. The next set of 12 cards feature a picture and a CVC word with a missing initial sound. Students must drag the correct letter into the box to complete the word.
